Twenty three years of professional range and herd management is what makes this ranch,
bordered by the Saskatchewan River, our top choice for trophy Canadian elk and whitetail deer.
Elk hunts are conducted on approx. 3,000 acres of the ranch. The method is classic glass, spot and stalk,
combined with calling and bugling. A typical day's hunt will start out walking meadows and grassy plains
in search of feeding or bugling elk. Afternoons are spent glassing river hills and valleys for bedded elk in the
Aspens and willows, followed again by spot and stalk in the late afternoon.
This ranch is a bowhunter's paradise. Crossbows are also allowed.
Whitetail hunts occur on roughly 1,000 acres of the ranch, utilizing elevated blinds over food plots
and/or feeders. For the 2007 season, green gross B&C scores averaged 155, with
seven deer scoring over 170, and at least one other breaking the 200 barrier!
Live, on-the-hoof weight will average 250-300 pounds.
We prefer to conduct these hunts from mid-September through October.
