Not only is this live-aboard trophy black bear hunt your chance to see the real Alaska,
it is also one of our personal favorites.

Alaska Bear hunts

Run by an Alaskan family-owned business with decades of combined experience operating in the remote areas of Prince William Sound and along the rugged coast of the Kenai Peninsula, this trip also includes the opportunity to fish for halibut and even set your own shrimp pots!

The hunt begins in either Whittier or Seward, where you will board your vessel for a five night/six day adventure cruising the shorelines and islands of Prince William Sound.  Once your quarry is spotted, you will be put ashore in a motorized inflatable.  Hunters are provided with handheld radios and frame backpacks.  After bagging and field processing your own animal, you will be picked up on the beach and returned to the mothership.  For this reason, we recommend hunting “partners” in parties of either 2 or 4.
We are currently booking for the Fall hunt, September 15 - October 15, 2008.

Accomodations are on board either a custom 46’ all aluminum Armstrong catamaran or a 50’ Delta Marine specifically designed for operating in the Gulf of Alaska.  Meals, which by the way are excellent, are freshly prepared on board.  Seafood night will most likely consist of your own fresh-caught halibut and spotted shrimp.  The scenery here is breathtaking, with the opportunity to view sea otter, sea lion, seal, whale, porpoise and bald eagles, as well as plenty of bears.

If you are the type of hunter who doesn’t mind working a little for your trophy, please contact us for more detailed information on this unforgettable experience.
