These types of hunts can be strenuous; both mentally and physically.
Transportation in the field may be by bush plane, raft, ATV, river boat or snow machine.
You will also hunt on foot, and will be expected to help pack out your own animals.
Weather in Alaska is always unpredictable, and hunters can expect
at some point to be cold, tired and wet, probably all at once. Lodging may be
in walled outfitter’s tents with a woodstove, rough cabins, or a spike camp with
little or no heat. Your guide will also most likely double as your cook.
We will advise on gear, clothing, licenses and permits, stayovers, taxidermy, etc.
